Sintetic GeoDB API documentation
Documentation for the GeoDB API. The API will be used by SINTETIC project applications to access the GeoDB.
GeoDB
The GeoDB stores data related to the management of forest properties (e.g., inventory, operations, plot sampling). It is the main SINTETIC data repository for applications dealing with traceability of trees, logs and boards along the timber supply chain. Direct access is not allowed to applications, but only by means of the GeoDB API.
GeoDB API Documentation
The GeoDB API provides a set of functions to access the GeoDB. The API allows applications to access data contained in the GeoDB in a simple and consistent way. Some applications will load data into the database while others will retrieve it for analysis and to produce further data. It is available at this link.
GeoDB Token Management
Token management is used to secure data against unauthorized access. Each user/application will be given a token with the appropriate rights in order to accomplish its tasks. The GeoDB API requires a valid token to allow access to the database. Contact GeoDB admins to request login credentials. Log in here to manage your tokens.
